I spend a lot of time modeling at Kayliwulf Kingdom!  Much of this time is just standing on my pose pad, which nearly always means I'm not on my computer at all; I'm at work or asleep in RL (real life).  But when I'm really there, I love flying around the store and trying to help customers.  I think I've met most of my SL friends at KK, both other employees and customers. 

Kayliwulf is a latex fetish store, something I love in RL.  That means the people I meet there also enjoy that tight, shiny, sexy clothing, so we immediately have something in common.

Kayliwulf also puts on really great parties, with a wide range of music and DJ'ing by KK co-owner Lazarus Luan, who really is a pro at it.  The dance floor is always really packed at these events, even though they happen two or three times every week!

February UPDATE: KK has transitioned from holding its own parties to sending the models out to some of the m any clubs around SL!  Wonderful marketing for both KK and the clubs (because invitations go out to KK's huge mailing list) and lots of fun for the models as well.

Pony play is a fascinating and, I think, misunderstood branch of BDSM (which is pretty misunderstood anyway).  The human pony is a beautiful creature, and we take great pride in our equipment, animations, appearance and deportment.

I train and play at Frilly Filly Farm, a large sim ranch.  This is not a ranch where the primary activity is "serving the stallion."  (In fact, I have not seen any such activity at FFF at all.)  The trainers spend a lot of time with us.

Actually, that time requirement has kept me from doing as much ponyplay as I would like.  It takes a good couple of hours to get any real training accomplished, and that has been hard to come by sometimes  Still, I have had some training in pulling in a cart (not as easy as you might think, especially using a slow computer!) and taking verbal commands.

I've also tried my hand at Puppy Play.  The puppy AO is so cute!  And because nobody expects anything from a puppy except play, it turns out to be a nice way to relax when I've been really busy.

I often tell people in-world that there is nothing as beautiful in SL as a mermaid, and I really believe that. Artists make tails with incredibly beautiful and complex patterns, color combinations, and fins that move gracefully as we fly or swim.  (Air and water are the same to an SL mer.)  There are fantastic underwater sims throughout SL that legged humans are not even aware of! 

My favorite place for mermaid play has been Beek Haven, which is really a pirate sim!  The owners are wonderful people, and they have created both above- and underwater environments where humans and the mer can interact.  The pirates' sea battles are great fun for we mermaids, who fly and swim about as they shoot at each other.  And when they sink, we rescue them.

Great excitement for me just this month (August 2008).  One problem that mers have always had is that our tails are basically tight skirts with fins attached, along with an AO (Animation Overrider, a complex script that causes us to move differently than a regular human would).  That means our tails can bend only the way legs bend, and you can see where the knees are.  Well, a good friend, Erluen Twin, developed and incredible new tail that really IS a tail!  It curves smoothly, and in all directions!  Erluen gave me one of her very first prototypes, and I have been wearing it everywhere.

Of course, "leading edge" sometimes means "bleeding edge."  I'm running into issues with other mer animations, which don't understand this new tail at ALL.  But it is still so wonderful to truly be able to swim like a fish.

Probably the easiest job to get in SL, especially for a female avatar, is as a club dancer.  Our job is to spend time in our club, generally on stage and/or on a dance pole, and let the dance animations move take over our bodies.  We talk and emote to customers, getting them engaged and excited.  (OK, and aroused!)  Very few clubs pay us for our time; we have to depend on tips from those customers.  Some are quite generous; many just watch and/or flirt with us, but don't pay for our trouble.  As I write this, I primarily dance at the dark BDSM sim called Purple Xtasy.

Many dancers are also Escorts, and I will let the reader imagine what that might involve.  I have not chosen to go that way.  I very much enjoy the encounters I have with the many people I meet, but do not want to get into that business.

UPDATE February 2009:  Not much dancing for a while, because I'm spending so much time on the next thing you see on this page:

I discovered my "Inner Domme" in SL, in the last part of 2008, but perhaps in an unusual way.  I had grown my list of friends (and sexual partners) and found it impossible to try and make time for them each one at a time.  My small house, with its one bed, was a private space just perfect for one or to Av's.  How could I possibly give each of these wonderful people the time they deserve?

The answer came to me as quite a shock--I would rent a larger house, and open it to loving women.  (Somehow, the men just did not fit into this plan; men always complicate things.)  Emerald, a beautiful young slave who had been orphaned when her own Mistress suddenly dropped off of SL, became very close to me.  Her Mistress' house was still furnished, so I paid a month's rent and we made it our own.  I invited many of my female friends to our new "House of O" (named after the "O" sim where it was located), and they came!  They brought their friends, and our new house was a reality.

But the house had problems.  It was already too small for our growing tribe.  The landowners were unresponsive in transferring the tenancy to me so that I could move out the old furniture and add our own.  I set out on a search for a new house, or land, that I could afford to rent for us.

A wide search generated some possibilities, but all would have stretched my budget.  My women, I'm sure, would help with whatever money or labor they had available, but the responsibility for their care was mine.

I ended up back at the Purple Xtasy sim, and asked the owner if she had some land to rent.  Before I knew it, she had flown 700 meters up and was building something.  In five minutes, there was a beautiful 2-story house with a pool on the roof!  She turned around (we were both flying) and said, "It is yours."

I was blown away, but did not fall to the ground.  I knew the layout of the house; it was identical to another skybox (SL name for a floating building) that I had visited often.  It was big, and bright, and perfect.

An announcement went out to all my House members that we had a new home!  The next several weeks were filled with shopping--buying furniture and equipment.  Those weeks also saw us grow tremendously in numbers!  As I write this, in early December 2008, we have 33 women in the new "House of Trina" group.

Being the Mistress to these women has come to be my main activity now.  The group has subs and dommes and switches; it also has women who do not place themselves in any of these categories.  They are all beautiful, and intelligent, and loving.  They all respect each other's likes and dislikes, kinks and turnoffs, and that respect is the only rule I enforce (other than the "invitation only" privacy of my Throne Room).  They come from around the world, speak many languages, and have unique personalities.

I find myself loving them all.  And, as was the goal at the beginning, I can now spend time with several of my wonderful girls at once.

UPDATE February 2009:  The House has grown to near 60 women!  Although I see some very seldom, they nearly all check in with me or come to the  house occasionally.  I encourage them to go lead their lives, have all the experiences they can, and bring those back to me. 

I am very happy with the success of the House (even though caring for so many beautiful women can be exhausting sometimes).  The membership is almost to the point that there is someone there all the time.  The more that happens, the more the girls will come for fun.  At that point, the house runs on its own, a nexus of female energy, radiating out into the virtual world.

What's a Bane?  The word "Bane" derives from "banished," and this role comes from a fictional story called Eudeamon downloadable at www.evil-dolly.com/txt/Eudeamon.pdf .  (Clicking that link downloads a 200-page PDF file, so give it a little time!)  The Bane has been convicted of committing a crime, and has chosen to undergo Banishment rather than go to jail.  The Eudeamon story is fascinating, well-written, and recommended.

There are several inworld providers of the Bane experience.  An Av who submits to this will be sealed in a black latex skin or catsuit and have a specially-modified black helmet locked on her.  She will be assigned a sentence (generally at least 30 hours of non-contiguous inworld time) that must be served in an active mode; no AFK or BUSY.  Inappropriate behavior will increase the sentence.  Although the experience can very, the Bane is generally banned from speaking, IM'ing, flying, accessing inventory, touching, running and sitting.  Which basically means the Bane is out there in SL, on her own, and limited to wandering around, friendless and helpless.

Doesn't sound like much fun.  But I created an Alt Avatar so that I could have this experience without compromising my responsibilities at House of Trina, and  the Alt's experience was powerful and very meaningful.  It was also full of love.  I will not tell more about the experience than that, including what the title word "Eudeamon" means.  Read the story.

After finishing the sentence, I had a long conversation with Madang Alter, owner of Alter Technologies who did KaTrina's program.  A week or so later, Madang IM'd and asked if I would like to be an Operator, the Avatar who performs the Banishment conversion roleplay, and is then the Bane's sole speaking contact in the entire SL world during the experience.  I'm honored by the request, and accepted.  That happened the day I write this, May 11, 2009.
