ALIEN FFF

The spaceship hovered over the lush green landscape.  Captain Trina watched the screens carefully, analyzing whether this would be the place she could touch down and plant the seeds of a new civilization.

She cradled her head carefully in her arm, holding it close to the screens.  It appeared to have adequate flat areas for planting; there was a stream running through it that could provide irrigation, but everything looked so green that perhaps that would not even be needed.

She flew the ship down closer, using clouds as much as possible to obscure the view from the ground.  Her sensors could see right through them; no problem there.

She spotted something really ugly down below.  Risking begin seen from below, she swooped down for a closer look.

"Ugh!  That thing is AWFUL!  Either these beings are among the ugliest in the universe, or they just have a very strange sense of taste when it comes to decorating their buildings!"

She pressed a button to activate a life-form scanner, and was happy to discover the thing was indeed just a truly ugly decoration.  "Perhaps it represents some deity they worship," she thought to herself.  We may be able to use that to get them to submit to us."

She accelerated quickly, above the clouds once again, and moved the ship to see other parts of the area.

"Hmmm," she thought, "There are flags with 'FFF' on them, and a picture of something that looks sort of human, but also what our research shows as being equine."  She looked over at a slender black cylinder and spoke to it.  "Alexa, what is the significance of the image on that flag?"

A blue light scanned the screen and the cylinder spoke "That would appear to be a PONYGIRL, Captain Trina.  A human, or former human female (the level of transformation appears to be variable) with some characteristics of a young equine, also known as a pony.  Would you like to order feed for it?  Free shipping."

"Not now Alexa, Thank you."

Captain Trina moved the ship around the area for several minutes.  Suddenly she saw something on the screen that excited her; it was a bright orange orb, perhaps a half-meter across.  Moving the camera, she spotted more and more of them; they were everywhere!

The Captain thought for a moment, and then made her decision.  "Alexa, record Captain's Log for this date and time."  The cylinder glowed blue.  "Have found what appears to be a good location for colonization.  As my fuel is low, this is going to have to be the place.  I am going to teleport as many of our colonization pods down there as I can without being discovered.  We are extremely fortunate; our pods appear to look exactly like some sort of orange orb that is plentiful here.  With luck, they will mature and hatch without even being noticed!  The ponygirls will have us among them before they even know it. Captain Trina out."

And one by one, Captain Trina selected locations and beamed the orange pods down, placing them as close as possible to the existing orbs.

"Alexa, what are those things, anyway."  The column glowed blue and it replied "They are called pumpkins. Totally worthless as far as I can tell, but once a year inhabitants cut holes in them so they look like faces.  I have no data on why, and assume it is some odd ritual.  Do you want to order some?  They are charged by the kilogram.  Free shipping."

"NO Alexa, thank you."  And she dropped more pods to the ground.

"My work is done here," the Captain thought to herself.  Unfortunately, I do not have the fuel to return home, so will just have to eject, crash the ship in the nearest ocean, and find a place to live with these strange creatures."

Captain Trina packed a small bag, including the small cylinder called Alexa.  She set the ship's controls for the deepest part of the ocean, climbed into the escape pod, and ejected from the doomed ship.

MONTHS LATER

TrinaX054 walked over to the tree and smiled.  She had been among the first of the pods to be "born," and was happy to take care of others that would be breaking out of their orange shells soon.  Some of the ponygirls had immediately submitted to their rule; some other unfortunate ones had been reduced to skeletons; they were a powerful reminder to others.

She sat down among the pods, and stroked them one by one.  "Soon you'll join me here, my sisters!"  She heard something and looked around.  "Queen Trina!"  She bowed respectfully.

"As you were, X054.  Now would you help me unpack all these boxes?  I seem to have ordered 10 tons of ponygirl feed, and it all arrived this morning."

From inside her pack came the words, "Free shipping!"

THE END?
