INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the House of Trina! Whether you are a potential new member or a woman who is already growing with us, this online Handbook should help you to understand what HoT is about, how we work, and what you can do to maximize your enjoyment and growth with us.
This Handbook includes all the information that Mistress Trina has tried to give every new girl at her pre-membership interview. Since time or interruptions have sometimes caused her to miss important details, every new member is now required to read this page. If you are new, be sure to send an IM to Mistress when you have finished reading it to confirm that you've done so. Also, if you have any questions, ask them then. Mistress will receive your IM as an Email if she's offline.
OUR MISSION
House of Trina (HoT) was established in 2008 to provide a safe, pleasant, Domme/Sub-based home for female avatars to gather, learn, and love together. The Mission of HoT is to enable our members to grow in SL to their fullest potential through mutual love, sharing, and respect. Our members frequently engage in sensual and sexual activity with each other at the house and elsewhere, making use of the wide variety of equipment and furniture at the house, along with their own bodily attachments.
OUR PRIMARY RULE
Mistress Trina has told every single member of her House: the primary rule is this:
Every member shall RESPECT every other member.
This goes regardless of their different likes, dislikes, turnons and turnoffs, or kinks. The strength of this House is in its diversity. Thru this diverse membership, our girls discover new aspects of SL, and often of themselves, that they never knew existed. These include pony- and puppyplay, china doll, extreme-bondage latex doll, mermaid, faun, Shibari, and the many exciting experiences possible through the Restrained Life Viewer (RLV).
If there are aspects of any of these or other areas that would repulse you or cause you to dislike another member of the House, then please request that Mistress Trina remove you from the Group. There will be no hard feelings; she will thank you for you honesty.

OUR HOME
In November 2009, House of Trina moved from our free space so lovingly donated by Miss Neysa Jie to a newly-expanded oceanfront parcel owned by Mistress Trina herself. "Emerald Atoll" includes a beach, decks, and a furnished Polynesian-style house with lots of scripted furniture (some RLV). The dungeon is in a large Mayan pyramid behind the house. Mistress recommends MIDNIGHT or SUNSET mode when you visit! Come to the house anytime you like, whether Mistress is present or not! See the "Getting the Most" page on our site.
YOUR ROLE AT THE HOUSE
There are several roles available to you at the House of Trina. Mistress allows you to choose from several of them right from the start; others are reserved for certain members and carry with them special responsiblities and powers. Because your behavior may be determined by both your own tag and that of the women around you, these Roles are defined here:
- Mistress Trina -- The supreme Mistress herself. ALL members, subs and dommes alike, are subject to the rule of Mistress. Subs must always address her as "Miss" or "Mistress," preferably at the start or end of every line of type.
- House Slave -- The House Slave serves at the Right Hand of Mistress, is responsible for the day-to-day running of the House, and is available whenever she is online to assist any sub, slave or domme in any way that she can.
- Trina's Slave -- Members wearing this tag have been given the honor of a formal collaring ceremony by Mistress Trina. Although many members wear collars (or other devices, like iControl), the Collared Slave has moved beyond a devotion to the House and its values, committing to a life of Service and fealty to Mistress. Service goes beyond submission; it is a commitment to place the Slave's own needs and desires totally beneath those of the House. A House of Trina Slave has sworn to absolute domination and obedience to Mistress. The Collaring Ceremony includes the locking of the Collar or control device, and transfer of all Ownership controls to Mistress Trina. If you think you may be a candidate for the position of Collared Slave, speak to Mistress.
- Trina's Sissy -- Generally applied to Maids and others who self-identify as sissies. These girls often have male genitals; they may/may not have female sexual parts as well.
- Trina's Doll -- An
entry-level position to be used ONLY by those members taking a Doll role, including extreme-bondage Latex Dolls.
- Trina's Pet -- An entry-level position. Can be any House submissive, but especially appropriate for any member enjoying Puppyplay, Ponyplay, or any other animal-based submission. ANY sub may self-select this Role Tag.
- Trina's Toy -- An entry-level position. Can be any House submissive. ANY sub may self-select this Role Tag.
