WHY THIS PAGE?

Our House has several dommes, who wear the "Goddesses" tag, who are available to help train our submissives and slaves.  This page will lay out some standard protocols for all to use, and hopefully avoid some confusion.

MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE:

There are a variety of types of members of the House of Trina, which are all described on the Handbook page.  But there are really three main distinctions, Dommes, Submissives, and Slaves.  (Please see #8 for some specifics on Puppies and Ponies.)

There is one House Slave, Emerald Aviatik, who may be consulted or used at any time, by any House Member.  Emerald founded the House with Mistress Trina in August 2008 and is Mistress' right hand.

NOTES:  #1 through #8, and #10 apply to all submissives and slaves.  #9 applies to collared slaves only.

These rules will use "Domme" or "Mistress," but apply to all dominants, whether male or
female.  The word "sub" used here includes both subs and slaves.

1) CAPITALIZATION OF NAMES.  Sub names are never capitalized at any time by a sub when communicating.  Domme names and titles are ALWAYS capitalized by a sub.  So:  "Hello, sister emerald."  "Hello, Mistress Trina."  This is standard in the BDSM world.  (Of course, a Domme may call a sub by any name, noun or pronoun she wishes.)

2) CONVERSATIONS BETWEEN SUBS.  I do not have a rule about whether sub/sub conversation must be in IM or in Chat. As a guideline, a sub must always be courteous.  If a sub is present where a Mistress (either that sub's Mistress, or any other Mistress) is in a local chat, the sub will not speak to any other sub in chat out as a courtesy, but will use IM to speak to the other sub.  HOWEVER: if you have been restricted from either Chat or IM, you will have to use the only means available to you.  (The most polite thing may be to Emote your desire to speak and wait for permission.)

3)  USE OF "MISTRESS," "MISS," "GODDESS," ETC.  I like variety in conversation, and speed as well. All House of Trina slaves shall address Mistress Trina as "Mistress Trina" at the beginning of the conversation, and may use "Miss" or "Mistress" throughout the rest. In general, refer and address only your owner at "Mistress," and others as "Miss" or "Goddess."

4)  REFERENCE TO MISTRESS TRINA AWAY FROM THE HOUSE.  When speaking of Mistress Trina to others away from our home, ALL subs (not just her own) will always use "Mistress Trina" or "Mistress Trina Varriale."  NO shorter version (such as "Miss") is permissible.

5)  PROPER GREETING.  Whenever any sub encounters any dominant male or female (or if the sub has any question of whether that person is a dom/me), the sub will immediately go into the Kneel or Nadu position and greet the dominant verbally.  (See puppy/pony exceptions below.)  Should the sub already be kneeling (or if the sub is locked into some other position), the verbal greeting will suffice, possibly with an explanation for why the sub is not kneeling.  A sub who is mistakenly addressed as if that sub is a domme will immediately inform the sub who incorrectly addressed the sub as a domme, that they are both sub.

6)  FIRST PERSON; USE OF "I".  This may be the hardest single thing for a new sub to learn.  The sub is not permitted to to refer to herself as "I" or "Me."  A sub will refer to herself as "this girl, this slave, Mistress' slave, this one", etc..  A sub may also use her own name, for example "sub mary greets you, Mistress Trina."  Some subs may have names blocked and not know the status of the person to whom they are speaking, so identifying yourself in that way can be helpful to letting these subs know your status as instructed above.

7)  AVAILABILITY FOR SEXUAL USE.  Any sub shall be available at any time for sexual activity by any Goddess, unless prohibited from doing so by another Goddess, a restriction that she will announce immediately.  In addition, any sub is free to seek, and to accept or refuse sexual activity by any other House sub; again unless prohibited by any Goddess and announcing the fact.

8)  LEAVING/LOGGING OFF.  In general, a sub will ALWAYS ask permission to leave the presence of a domme, whether it be walking from the room, TP'ing or logging.  However, should an RL emergency require an instantaneous logoff, the sub will simply type the word "ohio" in Chat and then leave.

REMINDER: the next item, #9, is only applicable to Slaves, not to Submissives.

9)  OWNERSHIP OF POSSESSIONS. The Slave is owned by Mistress, who therefore owns all of the Slave's "possessions."  This is difficult to achieve in virtual reality, since the Slave's inventory items are, in fact, "owned" by the Slave.  But the Slave must understand that she actually owns nothing.  Rather, she has given the SAFEKEEPING of all to her Mistress, even though she (Slave) is keeping it for Mistress' convenience.  (This "Mistress owns all" concept does NOT apply to all submissives.  We are talking about girls who have taken the additional step of becoming true collared slaves as described at http://trina.yolasite.com/handbook.php .  Mistress does NOT assume control of the possessions of every girl that comes to the family.) A slave that departs the House of Trina takes all items in that Slave's inventory with the Slave, as stipulated in the LL Terms of Service.

10)  PUPPIES, PONIES, and other Womanimals.  Puppies and ponies have some restrictions, and some freedoms of their own, which are just a part of what they are.  A Puppy wants to play, and doesn't really have a "kneel" or "nadu" pose to use.  Although Puppies must obey, they must be given a bit more leeway and room to express their nature.  Ponies are, in a way, just the opposite; their training is very formal and their speech restrictions, poses and other body functions are often locked into their bridles, HUDs, and AOs.  Goddesses should be aware of these restrictions and not expect the same response as expected from a human submissive.  Finally, Kittens are kittens, and Mistress Trina does not even try to herd cats, preferring to let them fully be their feline selves.

REMEMBER:  Above all else,

Every  House Member Will RESPECT Every Other Member.

If we (and the rest of our worlds, both real and virtual) would only follow that one rule, most other things work out for themselves.
